Silver Needle tea is produced from the young buds of the Camellia Sinensis plant. The buds are needle like in shape and have silvery hair on them. The taste is subtle and light with honeydew melon flavor notes while the scent is floral. It is crucial to not to steep in water that is too hot or the result will be a bitter brew. We recommend steeping 2.5g for 2-3 minutes in 6-8oz of 180° water. Brew up to 3 times - extending the brew time by a couple of minutes for each successive steep to extract all the subtle flavors and aromas.
