Making Tea-Infused Liqueur

Make your own tea-infused liqueurs with ease.

Tea-infused liqueurs are all the rage these days, and can be found for purchase in liquor stores throughout the country. But say you'd like to add a little bit of two leaves and a bud liquor to that cabinet of yours - how would you do it?

The process is actually quite simple: Soak three or four tea sachets in the alcohol for about four hours. You'll notice the color will begin to change and the aroma will intensify. Try not to leave the tea in the alcohol longer than eight hours otherwise it may start to get bitter.

Voila! You've just made a tea-infused liqueur worthy of any restaurant bar. Experiment with different two leaves and a bud teas like Assam or Alpine Berry and see which you like most!
