Now, slurp the tea-don’t worry about making loud noises. Spread it all over your tongue and mouth. What flavor notes do you detect? 5. Finally, swallow the tea. What is Herbal Tea
In the US, many people call herbal infusions ìtea.î This is the cause of much confusion ñ does my peppermint tea have true tea in it (and therefore caffeine?) or is it just peppermint (and therefore caffeine-free)!? An herbal tea, tisane, or ptisan is an herbal infusion made from anything other than the leaves of the tea bush (Camellia sinensis). Herbal teas can be made with fresh or dried flowers, leaves, seeds or roots, generally by pouring boiling water over the plant parts and letting them steep for a few minutes. For our herbal blends we search the world for the finest available herbs and blend them to have the flavors complement one another. All of our herbal blends contain no caffeine. On the other hand, flavoured teas are prepared by adding other plants to an actual tea (black, oolong, … Continue reading

White Peony Tea
The Chinese name,”Bai Mu Dan”, literally means white peony blossom. There is no Peony in this tea, just luscious white tea. Harvested only during a brief period in early spring, white tea is the unopened bud of the tea plant. Classic white tea is smooth and savory, but so light in the cup as to be called “white”. White tea is the very early spring growth of certain tea plants that is handled very delicately to preserve the white “hairs” on the leaves. It is very gently sun-dried to preserve the mellow flavor of the tea. Find out more about our exceptional organic teas.
